12-Month Limited Warranty Policy

This warranty document outlines the coverage and procedures for products manufactured and sold by Spectra Tech Group LTD. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK Consumer Law.

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Spectra Tech Group LTD warrants its products, including the RD9300 Radiation Detector, against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of original purchase.

  • This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser.

  • Coverage includes the repair or replacement of any component that fails under normal use due to manufacturing defects.

2. WHAT IS COVERED

The warranty specifically covers manufacturing defects in the instrument's core components, including:

  • Internal electronics and circuitry.

  • Display functionality (LCD).

  • Main sensor performance (subject to normal use).

  • Case integrity (excluding external wear and tear).

3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Consumable Items: Batteries, cables, carrying cases, or any accessories designed for regular replacement.

  • Physical Damage: Damage resulting from accidents, drops, liquid exposure, or environmental conditions outside the specified operating range.

  • Misuse & Unauthorized Acts: Unauthorized repair attempts, tampering, power surges (including use of incorrect battery voltage), or use contrary to the technical specifications.

  • Shipping Costs: Costs associated with shipping the unit to our service center for evaluation.

4. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

To ensure an efficient service, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Support: Before sending any unit back, contact our Technical Support Team at info@spectratechgroup.com with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

  2. RMA Issuance: If a warranty claim is deemed valid, you will be issued an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Packages sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

  3. Shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping the unit securely. We recommend using the original packaging.

  4. Remedy: Spectra Tech Group LTD will, at its discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater functionality.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for any defective product. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectra Tech Group LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
