Warranty Policy

Spectra Tech Group 12-Month Warranty Policy
This warranty supersedes any previous warranty documentation.

1. Warranty Coverage 
Spectra Tech Group warrants its products, including the RD9300 Radiation Detector, against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of original purchase.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and covers the repair or replacement of any component that fails under normal use due to manufacturing defects.

2. What is Covered 
The warranty specifically covers manufacturing defects in the instrument's components, including:

Internal electronics and circuitry.

Display functionality (LCD).

Case integrity (excluding physical damage).

3. What is NOT Covered 
This warranty does NOT cover:

Consumable Items: Batteries, cables, carrying cases, or any item designed to be replaced by the user.

Calibration: Normal sensor degradation or the need for routine calibration service (which is the user’s responsibility).

Physical Damage: Damage resulting from accidents, drops, liquid exposure, unauthorized repair attempts, power surges, or improper use.

Misuse: Failure due to operation outside the stated technical specifications (e.g., using incorrect battery type or voltage).

4. Warranty Claim Process 
Contact Support: Before sending any unit back, the customer must first contact our Technical Support Team at support@[your-domain].com to describe the issue and provide proof of purchase.

RMA Issuance: If the issue is determined to be a potential warranty claim, the customer will be issued an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. No returns will be accepted without a valid RMA number clearly marked on the package.

Shipping: The customer is responsible for safely shipping the unit to Spectra Tech Group in its original packaging (or equivalent secure packaging).

Remedy: Spectra Tech Group will, at its discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with a new or refurbished unit.

5. Disclaimer
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. The customer's sole remedy for any defective product shall be the repair or replacement of the product as outlined above.
